Young people, farmers, non-natives, and politicians have identified Biodun Oyebanji, the new governor of Ekiti State, as their target.
As he took over from Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Governor Oyebanji took the oath of office in front of a sizable throng.
Residents showed up in large numbers for the occasion.
Traffic on the road leading to the venue was difficult for security personnel to manage.
Tobi Conga, a youth leader, pleaded with the new governor to help bright kids.
He claimed that Dr. Fayemi had the youth’s back.
We came to join Oyebanji in their celebration. His forerunner accomplished excellently. Fayemi acquired skills and delivered successfully. Conga stated, “We want the incoming governor to take more steps so that we may rejoice more in Ekiti State.Numerous non-natives flocked to the location of the swearing-in.

The promises Oyebanji made throughout his election campaigns, according to Zoki Benjamin, the Tarada State Coordinator for the Coalition of Non-Indigenes.
“We must work together to make Ekiti State function,” he remarked. His campaign promises serve as the foundation for our expectations. He promised to give us strength. He can give us farmers more power. We cultivate maize, tomatoes, peppers, and rice.
“We anticipate him to perform admirably and lead our people. Elections are a thing of the past. He should now give hugs to everyone. He ought to lead both natives and non-natives. He ought to keep us in mind,” Ndubuisi remarked.

The presence of the audience, according to Kunle Esho, chairman of the Okada riders, demonstrated the public’s devotion to Oyebanji.
“For Okada riders, Fayemi performed well. As you can see, we are not experiencing any issues. Oyebanji has our word that Ekiti will be tranquil. Oyebanji is a decent person. He needs to provide motorbike support for our members. We received 500 motorcycles and a coach from Fayemi. We are confident that Oyebanji will accomplish more than that.
Tope Olanipekun, a former senator and former chairman of the Ado Local Government, predicted that Ekiti will start to experience positive things like Lagos State.
He exhorted Oyebanji to boost internal revenue (IGR) and concentrate on the agricultural industry.
According to the governor, he has given God control and direction over the state.
At a brief prayer meeting held yesterday at the Government House Chapel in Ado-Ekiti, which was also attended by his wife, Olayemi, family members, and officials, including the Head of Service, Bamidele Agbede, he spoke.
Oyebanji claimed he needed to begin his first day of work with a quick prayer before entrusting the task to God’s capable hands.
Following the 30-minute ceremony, the governor made his way from the chapel to his office, where he met for the first time with representatives from the National Assembly’s Ekiti State caucus.
Along with the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Funminiyi Afuye, the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Monisade Afuye, the Head of Service, and other senior government officials, he also met with them.
