Babatunji Wusu –
President Bola Tinubu’s chief of staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, has declared the State House Hospital at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to be operational.
During a tour of the N21 billion facility on Monday, the Speaker of the House of Representatives made this statement alongside Dr. Jane Ifechukwu, the hospital’s Chairman of Clinical Services.
After seeing the facility and speaking with reporters, Gbajabiamila expressed pleasure with the caliber of work being done at the presidential wing of the center.
The center’s equipment is of the highest caliber, according to the head of staff, who also recommended that the management make sure the center is finished on time.
“I have seen, and I am really impressed. Since you accompanied me around, I’m sure you are too,” he remarked. The standard here is really high, just like it is anyplace else in the world. The apparatus is top-notch.
According to what I understand, there are several pieces of equipment that aren’t even common in most parts of the globe. One of the best has just given me a lecture about kidney transplants.
“Among many other things, there’s a world-class cath lab. This makes me happy since they have a piece of equipment known as C-ARM. As Speaker of the House of Representatives, I can at least see where the money has gone while we were appropriating funds.
Ifechukwu also spoke, praising the hospital’s efficient use of cash and its preparedness to offer top-notch medical care.
“Everything is in place; the last administration stopped right now,” she stated. However, they desired that this administration use the language to control the procedure.
Our principals have supported us thus far; now is the time for them to approve us. Similar to how the Villa Clinic was operating, this is skeletal.
Here, that is what we do. But once we cross all the Is, we are unable to make decisions for ourselves; once they give us the all clear, we may proceed. However, once we cross all the Is, we are unable to make decisions for ourselves; they give us the all clear, and we are free to proceed.
Under Muhammadu Buhari’s presidency, construction on the presidential wing of the medical center started in November 2021.
