The World Health Organisation (WHO) has commenced the process towards declaring Nigeria certification a polio- free country.
The body noted that it would be looking at data and where it is proven negative, the country will be declared polio free early 2020.
Dr. Clement Peter, WHO representative, stated the next six months is very crucial for the government and country to attain the status.
