An Anglican minister of the Nnewi Ward in Anambra State, Rev. Ogbuchukwu Lotanna, has made sense of why he quit the brotherhood to support polygamy.

Lotanna said he got a heavenly command to drift a development on the side of polygamy.

He asserted that the command, designated at empowering polygamy, was educated by the vision to decrease the pace of sexual sins in the public eye.

The pastor, a legal counselor from Mbanagu Otolo Nnewi, saud his new development would be classified “Gideonites” while the spot of worship would be designated “Gideonites’ Sanctuary”.

He said he would set up an establishment to empower people in polygamy.

As indicated by him: “As opposed to what is for the most part being taught, polygamy isn’t a transgression. What God abhors is separation of any kind, laying down with one more man’s significant other and laying down with somebody that isn’t somebody’s better half.

“God wanted men to try and wed more than one spouse, rather than going for somebody’s wife or women they were not hitched to.”

Lamenting that the congregation had concealed the data from individuals from now onward, indefinitely quite a while, the pastor focused on it was time individuals were come clean.

He urged men to wed their side chicks to get away from hell fire, keeping up with that the main thing amiss with polygamy was to remain in a congregation that was against the training, “since two can’t work except if they concur.”

“Clearly the congregation, particularly the Anglican Church, has been educating against the idea of polygamy, yet the Master has woken me up to the truth that polygamy isn’t a wrongdoing,” he added.

The Country accumulated that Lotanna, a local of Mbanagu Otolo Nnewi, was appointed an Anglican cleric on December 22, 2019, at Basilica Church of St. Mary’s Uruagu, Nnewi, and wedded to Chinyere Abigail.

The Ward is yet to formally respond to the improvement as at season of documenting the report.
