Tunji Wusu –

President Bola Tinubu, according to Senator Shehu Sani, should look into the President Muhammadu Buhari administration and retrieve all the money that was stolen while that administration was in power.

Sani claimed yesterday on his twitter account that if the president doesn’t look into the administration of his predecessor, people in possession of the stolen money will sooner or later go after the current president.

Recall that Tinubu suspended the head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, as well as Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The Department of State Services (DSS) seized them shortly after their suspension to question them over their terms of office.

However, several Nigerians have demanded that the inquiry into the handling of state affairs be extended to include significant figures in the previous administration.

Sani responded yesterday by stating that Tinubu should ignore Buhari and instead dig into the administration to retrieve stolen cash.

Tinubu need to disregard Buhari and investigate the previous administration in order to recoup assets that were stolen. Sani warned that President Tinubu will sooner or later come under attack from looted monies if he did not pursue them.
