Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Monday pledged that President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda will transform Abuja into a world-class city.
Wike made the declaration while flagging off the construction of Access Roads ILS 02 and ILS 03 (Timipre Sylva Street) in the Mabushi District of the FCT.
The minister assured residents that the administration is committed to completing critical infrastructure projects that will elevate the capital to global standards.
“We thank God for the opportunity to build this all-important road. In terms of infrastructure, Abuja will compete with other known cities of the world,” Wike said.
He urged residents to support Tinubu’s vision, stressing that his mandate in the FCT is to implement the president’s mission of modernizing the capital.
“Some people accuse us of focusing on roads, but that only shows progress is visible. Our role is to deliver on Mr. President’s commitments and ensure Abuja reflects its true status as Nigeria’s capital city,” he added.
