The Women’s Champions League quarterfinal matchups were drawn on Friday, and the defending champion Lyon will play against Chelsea, who is currently leading the English Women Super League (WSL).

Chelsea, who finished first in its group ahead of PSG, will travel to France for the opening leg of the match, which will take place in late March.

Despite finishing second in its group to Arsenal this season and losing 5-1 at home to the Gunners, Lyon won the Champions League for a record eighth time last season after defeating Barcelona in the final.

The winner of Arsenal’s match against Bayern Munich, who are now third in the WSL, will go on to play either PSG or Wolfsburg in the semi-finals in late April. In the other semi-final, either Chelsea or Lyon will take on either 2021 champions Barcelona or Roma.

The season’s championship game will take place on June 3 in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
