Netherlands, Japan, Sweden, and Australia have secured places in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32, becoming the latest teams to progress from the group stage.

Earlier on the same day, Ivory Coast and Ecuador also booked their places in the knockout rounds after recording victories over Curacao and Germany, respectively.

Following the conclusion of the third round of matches in Groups A, B and C, South Africa, Canada, Switzerland, Morocco, Brazil, and Bosnia and Herzegovina also confirmed their qualification.

They join Germany, France, Norway, Argentina, United States, Mexico, and Colombia, who had already secured progression after the second round of group matches.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32 will feature 32 teams. Twenty-four nations will qualify automatically by finishing in the top positions of their groups, while the eight best third-placed teams will claim the remaining knockout places.

The group stage concludes on June 27, with the knockout phase scheduled to begin on June 29.
