Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, has warned Cross River State voters not to vote for persons they do not trust.
Mr. Obi made the announcement during his presidential rally at the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
He stressed that his motivation for running for president was to rebuild the country and make it work.

“I tell you that the Obi-Datti administration will shape, secure, and unite Nigeria.
“In addition, we will assure law and order, the rule of law, an end to police brutality, that our colleges work as universities, and that the country transitions from a consumption to a producing economy,” he stated.
He expressed sadness for the Tinapa project and promised as president not only to assist resuscitate it but also to boost the state’s tourism sector.
He also promised to boost the productivity of the Cross River economy’s agricultural sector, particularly through investment in cocoa.
