The Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) has urged Federal and state governments to intensify efforts in order to provide adequate power supply in all nooks and crannies of the country. The group also called on government at all levels to focus on the provision of electricity in the rural areas of the country in order to increase the creation of employment to the citizenry and boost the economy of the nation. The group made the call in a communique issued at the end of its 26th Annual National Seminar organized by the group in Jos on Tuesday. The communique signed by its National Coordinator, Seminar and Qur’an Recitation competition, Hafiz Aminu Yusuf also urged the security agencies to be up and doing in curtailing the rising tide of crimes in the country so as to prevent its negative consequences. The group also appealed to the federal government and state governments to ensure realism, justice and merit in the appointment of judges of the Nigerian courts.
