Bukola Saraki, immediate past Senate President has charged Super Falcons of Nigeria to defeat Germany in today’s World Cup Round of 16 clash.
Super Falcons will face Germany at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup round of 16 tie on Saturday at 4:30pm.
Saraki on his Twitter page encouraged and wished Super Falcons luck as they face Germany.
He wrote: “Wishing the Super Falcons the best of luck as they face Germany today.
“The hard work and grit of the team has inspired all of us at home and won over new fans all around the world.
“ I’m looking forward to the successes of these amazons in the World Cup.”
Meanwhile, Head coach of Nigeria women’s team, Thomas Dennerby, has said his ladies will take the game to the Germans, in today’s World Cup Round of 16 clash at the Stade des Alpes in Grenoble.
Germany thrashed the Super Falcons 4-0 in a group phase match at the inaugural FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in China 28 years ago.
