Abubakar Mohammed Sadiq, a suspected prison escapee from Kuje, was re-arrested by police in the Kano State hamlet of Rangaza in the Ungogo LGA.
The Kaduna State-born suspect, 25, was detained on September 9 as a result of reliable information and ongoing intelligence collecting.
The escapee has been turned over to the Nigeria Correctional Service, Kano State, according to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, SP Haruna Kiyawa, on Friday, October 7.
