A 40-year-old man was killed by two “yahoo guys” as part of Ritual.

The Ogun State Police Command has detained two suspected yahoo boys who are accused of killing and dismembering the body of Abdullahi Azeez, 40, in order to perform money rituals.

The suspects, identified as Friday Abinya Odeh, 21, and Poso Idowu, 20, were detained on September 29 in response to a report made by the victim’s family to the Owode Egba Divisional Headquarters.

According to a statement released by the command’s spokeswoman on Sunday, October 9, the victim’s relatives informed the police that Azeez left his home in the Kobape neighborhood of Abeokuta on June 8, 2022, and did not come back.

“In line with the CP’s order, the SP Taiwo Opadiran led team subsequently began on an intelligence-based inquiry which led them to Friday Abinya Odeh’s hideout on the 22nd of September 2022, where the victim’s Airtel Sim card was seized,” he said. His capture resulted in the capture of his companion Poso Idowu.
