Anambra adolescent girl is defiled by a native doctor.

In Awgbu town, Anambra State, a 55-year-old native doctor named Mr. Ofomah has been detained for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl.

A group of social workers from the State Ministry for Women and Social Welfare detained the suspect.

When the victim was asked by her guardian to return the final harvested palm kernel from the farm, the suspect is accused of abusing her.

THE PREMIER NEWS learned that the suspect had carnal knowledge of his victim and had used force to overcome her while professing to be of service.

Through her media assistant, Chidinma Ikeanyionwu, Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs. Ify Obinabo, confirmed the event and stated the offender was in police custody.
