The Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council denounced the brutal murder of Mrs. Victoria Chintex, the party’s female leader in Kaduna State, and placed the blame for the crime on Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of that state, who served as the chief security officer.
Kenneth Okonkwo, the presidential campaign council’s spokesperson, said as much.
The LP Women leader in Kaura Local Government Area, Kaduna State, was Late Chintex.
According to THE PREMIER NEWS, gunmen who allegedly entered into Chintex’s home at around 8 p.m. on Monday night shot and killed the woman, Chintex.
The killing was verified in a statement by the LP’s publicity secretary for the Southern Kaduna senatorial zone, Edward Buju, who called it an unprovoked killing.

According to reports, Victoria’s husband was also shot in the leg but was taken immediately to a hospital where he is still receiving care.
“The Southern Kaduna (Zone 3) Labour Party mourns the untimely passing of our mother and sister, Mrs. Victoria Chintex, women leader, Kaura local government, who was slain yesterday (Monday) by some unknown gunmen in her residence in Kaura,” the statement had read.
Reactions have followed the killing ever since the occurred.
In response to the murder of Chintex, Okonkwo said that Governor El-Rufai should be held accountable if her killers were not found right away.
Okonkwo, who denounced the horrific murder on Twitter, wrote: “The Labour Party Women Leader in Kaura, Kaduna State, Victoria Chintex, was shot dead by suspected assassins on Monday, November 28.
If the murderers are not found right away, Kaduna State’s APC governor, El-Rufai, should be held accountable as the CSO.
Recall that last week, Usman Baba, the Inspector General of Police, lambasted state governors for nationwide political violence while speaking to representatives of the 18 political parties in Abuja.
