The Independent Electoral Commission’s Mahmood Yakubu has been requested to resign down by the People’s Democratic Party, the Labour Party, and the African Democratic Party.
In a joint press conference on Tuesday, the three parties claimed that voter intimidation, violence, and election tampering marred the presidential elections in February 2023.
Refreshed elections were demanded by the parties.
