The FG has kicked British businessman and CEO of Nigerian oil and gas exploration and production company Seplat Energy Plc, Roger Brown, out of the country.
Due to claims of racism, favoritism of foreign workers, and discrimination against Nigerian employees made against Brown by corporate employees, the Ministry of Interior, Abuja, has cancelled his visa, work permit, and residency permit.
According to ThisDay, the revocation was stated in a letter sent by the minister of internal affairs to the chairman of Seplat Energy Plc’s board on March 3, 2023.
“I am writing to let you know that the Ministry has received a petition from the concerned Seplat Energy PLC employees and stakeholders accusing Mr. Rogers Thomson Brown, the CEO of the firms, of several charges. Racism, favoring foreign labor, and discriminating against Nigerian staff are some of the charges leveled.
