RIVERS PASTOR IS GIVEN THE DEATH PENALTY BY THE COURT FOR A NUMBER OF MURDERS

A high court in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, sentenced Chidiebere Okoroafor, a well-liked preacher in the region, to death for murder.

Pastor Okoroafor is the general overseer of the state’s Oyigbo LGA-based Altar of Solution & Healing Assembly.

He was also charged with extra murder in connection with the passing of Chigozie Ezenwa, a friend of Nwagba, and her child, Cresabel, on December 11, 2017.

The evidence and Pastor Okoroafor’s confessional statement, according to Justice Stanley Benson, showed that he murdered his Church’s choir mistress after she became pregnant and also killed her friend Chigozie Ezenwa with her daughter, Christabel Ezenwa.

The Pastor was to either be given a fatal injection, which also quickly kills, or be executed by hanging him by his neck until he passed out, according to the judge’s ruling.
