Four suspects have been detained by Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police command personnel assigned to the Utako divisional headquarters in connection with the stabbing and subsequent serious injury of one Labaran Usman in the Jabi region of the FCT.

The suspects—Mubarak Ibrahim, 24, Mohammed Adamu, 18, and Aliyu Ibrahim, 19—were detained by police officers who were responding to a distress call about a stabbing that occurred in the vicinity of the Jabi parking lot by a group of young males who were thought to be members of a cult.

Two daggers used in the heinous incident were among the exhibits retrieved from the accused.

The team detained another member of the group on the same day, one Ibrahim Tsoho Musa, 48, of Jos North LGA, Plateau State, while stepping up their investigations into the prior detention.

FCT, PRO, and SP police According to Josephine Adeh, a search was done on his home in Angwa Fulani Bwari, FCT, at 6 o’clock. A locally made gun with six rounds of ammo, a pair of military camouflage pants, and two daggers were found on him.

The suspects’ methods for carrying out the crime and other malicious actions they had carried out in the FCT were made clear by the police team’s investigations.

The PRO claimed that efforts are intensifying to identify the origin of the recovered firearm and to crack down on other criminal organizations’ still-wandering members.

It has been reported that the victim, Labaran Usman, 32, of Kaduna State, who was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment, is recovering.
