WIKE ANNOUNCES HIS INTENTION TO NAME NINE FCTA PERMANENT SECRETARIES.

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), declared on Monday that the nine permanent secretaries who will supervise the nine secretariats of the FCT Administration had been appointed.
At a press conference held in Abuja yesterday after touring many road developments in the nation’s capital, Wike revealed this.

He underlined that this choice is in line with the rules specified in the FCT Civil Service Commission Act, 2018, which President Bola Tinubu supported.

Along with expressing his displeasure with the file processing delays, Wike warned the directors not to take any further steps that would impede the administration’s advancement.

The minister went on to say that he has approved the promotion of about 8,000 workers in the Federal Capital Territory.

He made it clear that in return, these people must show that they are more committed to and dedicated to their responsibilities.
