“GOVERNOR FINTIRI’S POWER MOVE: EIGHT NEW PERMANENT SECRETARIES SWORN IN ADAMAWA!”

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State recently presided over the swearing-in ceremony of eight newly appointed permanent secretaries. The event, held at the Government House’s Banquet Hall in Yola, saw Governor Fintiri urging the officials to uphold integrity and fairness in their service to the state.

Representing the governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta emphasized the importance of impartiality in delivering public service during his address. “Your appointment is a call to higher duty, and your oath of office and allegiance demands fairness to all,” he remarked.

The newly appointed permanent secretaries, including Ladi Baba Hamza, Emmanuel Iliya Tapasha, Mohammed Tukur, Hassan Maude Modibo, Syndana Dada, Mercy Ornan Dauda, Mohammed Awwal Ibrahim, and Mrs. Melody Pwambodi Herman, pledged their dedication to diligent service. Melody Pwambodi Herman, speaking on behalf of the group, affirmed their unwavering commitment and loyalty to the current administration.

The oath of office and allegiance was administered by the state’s attorney-general, Isuwa Misali, adding a solemnity to the occasion.

In another development, Governor Fintiri received a nomination for the prestigious Infrastructure Development Award in recognition of his remarkable achievements in transforming the state’s infrastructure. The nomination, announced in a press statement by Humwashi Wonosikou, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, lauded Fintiri’s efforts in revitalizing critical sectors such as roads, bridges, healthcare, education, and water supply. The press release highlighted that under Fintiri’s leadership, Adamawa State has seen unprecedented growth and development.

The Infrastructure Development Award, organized by The Best Strategic Media and the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, aims to celebrate leaders who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to infrastructure development and significantly improved the lives of their constituents.

Governor Fintiri expressed gratitude for the recognition, describing it as a “perfect Sallah present,” and dedicated the nomination to the people of Adamawa State who have continually supported his administration’s vision for progress and prosperity.
