PSV Eindhoven supporters have been banned from attending their upcoming Champions League match against Paris St Germain on October 22 due to previous disturbances, as announced by French authorities. The Dutch club expressed surprise at the decision, noting that around 2,000 fans who had already purchased tickets will be refunded.

In their statement, PSV emphasized that there are no outstanding penalties against them, but French police cited past incidents involving supporter violence, including a confrontation between PSV and RC Lens fans last October. Additionally, PSV had faced restrictions in 2022 after crowd trouble during a match at Arsenal.

As it stands, PSV has only one point from two Champions League matches, while PSG has accumulated three points.
