Babatunji Wusu –
The magistrate court in Ado-Ekiti has refused to grant bail to human rights activist Dele Farotimi, who is facing charges of allegedly defaming Afe Babalola, the founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti.
During the court session on Tuesday, Magistrate Abayomi Adeosun adjourned the decision on Farotimi’s bail application until December 20. This delay followed an objection raised by the police counsel, Samson Osobu, who argued that the bail application was incomplete and improperly filed.
Further details will be provided as the case progresses.
