  • Governor Abdullahi Sule has submitted 16 commissioner nominees to the Nasarawa State House of Assembly for confirmation.
  • The nominees represent various Local Government Areas (LGAs) across the state.
  • Appointees are required to submit their CVs by Thursday and appear for screening next Monday.
  • The list includes two former state lawmakers, six former commissioners, and three females.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has officially submitted the names of 16 individuals nominated for commissioner positions to the State House of Assembly for confirmation. Speaker Danladi Jatau made the announcement during Monday’s proceedings in Lafia, the state capital.

Jatau urged the nominees to submit 30 copies of their Curriculum Vitae (CV) to the Assembly by Thursday and prepare for screening next Monday. The nominated individuals come from various Local Government Areas (LGAs) across Nasarawa State, including:

  • Yakubu Kwanta (Akwanga LGA)
  • Hon. Tanko Tunga (Awe LGA)
  • Hajiya Munirat Abdullahi and Gabriel Agbashi (Doma LGA)
  • Isaac Danladi Amadu (Karu LGA)
  • Princess Margret Itaki Elayo (Keana LGA)
  • Dr. Ibrahim Tanko (Keffi LGA)
  • Dr. John DW Mamman (Kokona LGA)
  • Hon. Aminu Mu’azu Maifata and CP Usman Baba (Rtd) (Lafia LGA)
  • Hon. Mohammed Sani Ottos (Nasarawa LGA)
  • Hon. Mohammed Agah Muluku (Nasarawa Eggon LGA)
  • Mr. David Moyi (Obi LGA)
  • Dr. Gaza Gwamna (Toto LGA)
  • Barr. Judbo Hauwa Samuel and Hon. Muazu Gosho (Wamba LGA)

Governor Sule had previously dissolved the State Executive Council on January 3, and the current batch of nominees includes two former state lawmakers, six former commissioners, and three females.
