MultiChoice, Nigeria’s leading pay-TV provider, has announced an upward adjustment in subscription fees for its DStv and GOtv packages, effective March 1, 2025.
The company disclosed this in a statement to customers on Monday, noting that the price hike—averaging 21%—aims to sustain the delivery of premium local and international content through top-tier technology.
“This adjustment is necessary to continue providing our customers with world-class entertainment and the best viewing experience,” the statement, titled Price Adjustments for DStv and GOtv Packages, read.
With the revision, the cost of DStv Compact will climb from N15,700 to N19,000, while Compact Plus subscribers will pay N30,000 instead of N25,000. Meanwhile, DStv Premium users will see their fees jump to N44,500.
GOtv subscribers are not left out, as the GOtv Jolli package will increase from N3,600 to N3,900, while the GOtv Plus plan will now cost N5,800, up from N4,850.
This marks MultiChoice’s second price revision in less than a year, following a similar tariff adjustment in April 2024.
