  • Nigerian Defence Academy opens admission for 77 Regular Course

  • Applicants must have a minimum UTME score of 180, with engineering courses requiring 210

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has officially commenced the admission process for all applicants of the 77 Regular Course. In a statement posted on X, the Academy provided important details for candidates who participated in the 2025 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected NDA as their first choice.

The NDA emphasized that candidates must score at least 180 in the UTME to be eligible for most courses, except for engineering programs, which require a minimum score of 210. Only candidates who meet these score thresholds will be eligible to choose a centre and participate in the NDA Screening Test.

The Screening Test is scheduled to take place nationwide on May 24, 2025. Candidates who succeed in the screening will be invited to the Armed Forces Selection Board at the NDA, where they will undergo thorough medical, physical, and mental evaluations, along with other assessments.

The final list of admitted candidates will be published in national dailies and on the NDA website.
