Lizzy Gold Ends Two-Year Rift With Destiny Etiko, Blames Industry Gossip

Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has revealed that her two-year fallout with colleague Destiny Etiko was fueled by malicious gossip within the film industry.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Gold disclosed that false narratives spread by rumour mongers drove a wedge between the two close friends, leaving her isolated. She praised Etiko’s sociable nature, describing her as the only person in Nollywood who truly understands her.

“Two years ago we separated as friends because of ‘them say’ in Nollywood. I became lonely because I don’t make friends easily like you do. Thank God you realized you were deceived and came back,” she wrote.

Gold also addressed the gossip peddlers directly, declaring she is now immune to negativity, and urged Etiko never to allow outsiders to come between them again.
