Bayelsa United midfielder Wisdom Magbisa has called on his teammates to shake off their narrow 1-0 loss to Niger Tornadoes and focus on bouncing back in their next fixture.
The Prosperity Boys fell to their first defeat of the campaign on Sunday at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, ending their unbeaten start to the Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Speaking after the game, Magbisa assured the club’s supporters that the team remains determined to deliver a positive result when they host Enyimba in Yenagoa.
“It’s football. We just have to put the defeat behind us and concentrate on our next game to make sure we get maximum points in Yenagoa,” Magbisa said.
Bayelsa United will welcome nine-time league champions Enyimba to the Samson Siasia Stadium on Sunday, in what promises to be a crucial test for their resilience.
