Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, will grant a live television interview on September 18, putting to rest widespread rumours about his health.
Speculation had swirled online that the former Rivers State governor secretly flew to the United Kingdom for medical treatment after allegedly being diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
But Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, dismissed the claims, stressing that the minister is healthy and fully engaged in his official duties. In a Facebook post on Sunday, Olayinka announced that Wike will appear on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, September 18, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The scheduled interview coincides with the anticipated reinstatement of suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, raising expectations of fiery political discourse during the broadcast.
