Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage has revealed her desire to expand her family, disclosing that she is no longer freezing her eggs but is actively considering having more children.
The award-winning singer made the revelation during a recent interview with US podcaster Joe Budden. Tiwa, who is already a mother, admitted she is intentional about having male children.
“I want more children, boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy,” the Somebody’s Son hitmaker explained.
Tiwa’s candid revelation adds to her reputation for openness about motherhood and life beyond the spotlight.
The global Afrobeats icon began her career as a backup vocalist for music legends George Michael and Mary J. Blige before returning to Nigeria to establish herself as a solo artist. She shot to fame in the early 2010s with hits like Kele Kele Love and Eminado, securing her place as one of the genre’s most influential female voices.
Her latest comments underline her desire to balance music with family while continuing to inspire millions across the globe.
