Actress Doris Ogala Accuses Prophet Chris Okafor of Betrayal, Claims Broken Marriage Promise

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has publicly accused the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Prophet Chris Okafor—popularly known as the Generational Prophet—of betraying her by proposing to another woman despite allegedly promising to marry her.

Ogala made the allegations in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page on Saturday, reacting to a viral clip showing Okafor’s engagement to another woman. The video, which surfaced online over the weekend, quickly gained traction across social media platforms.

Expressing shock and distress, the actress claimed she had been in a long-term intimate relationship with the cleric since 2017. She alleged that Okafor collected money from her during the relationship and promised marriage, a pledge she now says has been abandoned.

In the video, Ogala warned that the reported engagement would not succeed, insisting that she had suffered significant emotional and personal losses during the course of the relationship. She further alleged that private materials were shared without her consent and that she endured severe psychological trauma, including a miscarriage and the loss of her younger brother.

The actress said she has struggled to cope with the aftermath of the relationship and accused the cleric of ruining her life before moving on to marry someone else. She also disclosed that she recently experienced suicidal thoughts, calling on the public to understand the depth of her pain.

As of the time of filing this report, Prophet Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the allegations. Efforts to reach representatives of Grace Nation Bible Ministry for comments were unsuccessful.
