Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh stunned guests and stirred conversations online as she publicly celebrated and prayed for her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, during their son King Andre’s 10th birthday party in Abuja.
In a video now trending across social media platforms, Dikeh stood before family and friends and poured out heartfelt prayers for Churchill, declaring prosperity, protection and divine favour over him, his businesses and his household.
“You are an amazing father, thank you so much,” she said warmly.
The actress went further, invoking spiritual blessings and speaking words of abundance over Churchill’s ventures. “Your businesses will flourish; whoever curses you shall be cursed. I love you with the love of God,” she declared.
Dikeh also highlighted the bond between Churchill and their son, King Andre, emphasizing the child’s deep admiration and affection for his father. She extended her prayers beyond Churchill to include his entire family and children, asking for progress, success and protection from failure in all their pursuits.
“I pray for your family. I pray for your business. I pray for all the children. They will progress. Failure will not meet them. Everything that they touch will be blessed,” she said.
“God will go before them and make every crooked path straight. Your business is replenished.”
The public show of goodwill marks a significant shift in the relationship between the former couple, whose marriage ended in a widely publicised split in 2017. After years of public disagreements and legal disputes, Dikeh recently announced that they had reconciled and “buried the hatchet,” signaling an end to their prolonged feud.
Churchill moved on and formally introduced Rosy Meurer, his former personal assistant, as his wife in 2021. The couple welcomed their first child in March 2021 and a second child in October 2022. In 2023, Churchill dismissed rumours suggesting trouble in his marriage, while Meurer publicly affirmed her unwavering loyalty, stating she would willingly “take a bullet” for her husband.
Dikeh’s prayers at the birthday celebration have since sparked mixed reactions online, with many describing the moment as a powerful display of maturity and co-parenting.
