The National Youth Service Corps has officially released the NYSC call-up letters for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II. Early on Monday morning, the scheme uploaded deployment details and call-up numbers to its online portal. Many excited graduates confirmed they could finally see where they will serve, though high user numbers caused some technical delays on the website.
Candidates have taken to social media to share their deployment news and discuss their assigned states. While some faced slow loading times due to heavy traffic, the NYSC call-up letters are now accessible for those who log in to the official dashboard. This announcement follows the recent release of the national orientation timetable.
According to the official spokesperson, Caroline Embu, the orientation course is set to begin nationwide on Wednesday, 22nd April 2026. Prospective members must register at their camps by Friday, 24th April, which is also the date for the formal swearing-in ceremony. The full training programme will then continue until 12th May.
Safety remains a top priority for the management during this period. The scheme has urged all young graduates to avoid travelling at night. They recommend that anyone on the road should find a safe place to rest by 6.00 pm and finish their journey the next day. This move signifies the start of a year-long journey for thousands of Nigerians as they prepare to print their NYSC call-up letters and begin their mandatory service to the nation.
Have you successfully checked your deployment state yet, or are you still facing issues with the portal?
