Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has launched a scathing attack on fellow artiste Adekunle Gold, criticising both his music and fashion style in a social media post that has stirred reactions online.

In a post shared via his X handle on Friday, Seyi Vibez described Adekunle Gold as a “mediocre artiste” with “mediocre swag.”

“Adekunle Gold, you’re wack, and your swag is wack. Old fool!” he wrote, shocking fans and followers.

The reason behind the outburst remains unclear. However, some fans have linked the comments to lyrics in Adekunle Gold’s recently released song, “Life Of The Faaji.”

In the track, Adekunle Gold appears to reference the Fuji music-inspired sound associated with Seyi Vibez.

“They love my fuji / This one no be fuji moto,” he sings.

Many listeners believe the line may have been aimed at Seyi Vibez’s hit song, Fuji Moto, though neither artiste has confirmed this interpretation.

As of the time of filing this report, Adekunle Gold had not publicly responded to the remarks.
