Speed Darlington says he is still single as he approaches 60, revealing his disappointment over not having a wife or children. The Nigerian singer and rapper said he wants more from life than the achievements he has recorded so far.

Speaking in a recent video, Speed Darlington says he is still single and questioned whether he would spend the rest of his life without a family. He said that, although he has secured American residency papers, he now desires “family, freedom and respect.”

The musician, popularly known for the hit song Akpi, added that he expected to be married with children at this stage of his life.

Meanwhile, several years ago, the entertainer publicly announced that he was searching for a wife. At the time, he listed qualities he wanted in a partner, including being fluent in English and Igbo.

However, despite that public appeal, he has not found a spouse. Speed Darlington says he is still single, leaving fans reacting to his latest remarks on social media.
