Police Academy Announces 13th Course Screening Dates

The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State, has invited applicants for its 13th Regular Course to attend a screening exercise beginning September 9, 2026.

The academy disclosed this in a statement issued by its Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Umar Isah, on behalf of Commandant AIG Auwal Muhammad.

Applicants must print their examination slips between August 25 and September 8. The screening will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT), physical features assessment, medical screening and Selection Board interview, with activities running until September 18.

The POLAC screening exercise will take place in batches according to candidates’ states of origin. The first batch, scheduled for September 9, covers Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra and Bauchi. The second batch on September 10 includes Bauchi Batch B, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River and Delta.

Candidates from Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, the Federal Capital Territory, Gombe and Imo will sit the CBT on September 11. Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano and Katsina candidates follow on September 12, while Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos and Nasarawa are scheduled for September 13.

The remaining batches run from September 14 to 16, covering Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara.

Candidates must bring the required original documents and photocopies, including their SSCE and JAMB results, birth certificate or declaration of age, LGA indigene certificate, NIN slip, medical fitness certificate, guarantor’s form, passport photographs and application acknowledgement slip.

Applicants must wear a white T-shirt, white shorts, white socks and white canvas shoes. The academy advised them to arrive one day early and said accommodation would be provided during screening.

Parents will not be admitted into the academy. Candidates should also use the POLAC Admission Portal for updates and beware of fake social media accounts.
