The managing director of the Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, Femi Olaleye, was found guilty of raping his wife’s niece and was given a life sentence by the Lagos Special Offenses and Domestic Violence Court.Olaleye was found guilty on Tuesday on a two-count allegation of defiling a child and sexual assault by penetration by the presiding judge, Rahman Oshodi.

For counts one and two, the judge decided that the defendant should serve life in prison.

The judge did state that the sentencing should occur concurrently, though.

the doctor was accused of abusing a kid for over 20 months who was allegedly a niece of his wife.

Olaleye was then charged with two counts, including defiling a minor and sexual assault by penetration, by the Lagos state government in November 2022.

The medical professional, however, entered a not guilty plea to the two counts.

Aderemi, Olaleye’s estranged wife, testified in court during the trial that her husband had introduced the victim, who was young, to pornography and oral sex.

Aderemi stated that her marriage to her husband of 11 years had produced two children.

She apologized for being uninformed of her husband’s sex abuse of her niece while he was doing it.

Femi’s wife said in court that her husband provides her medication every night, saying that since she is getting near to 50, it will prevent blood clots.
