Abakaliki FC Coach Rallies Fans, Vows Stronger Season After First NNL Victory

Abakaliki FC head coach, Stars Plus, has urged supporters to throw their full weight behind the team as they push for a stronger campaign in the new Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

Plus reassured fans that the squad remains determined to surpass last season’s achievement, where the Ebonyi-based side emerged runners-up in the President Federation Cup.

The club secured its first NNL win of the season on Sunday, defeating Solution FC at the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki.

“I keep telling the fans to keep believing in us; it’s not an easy journey,” Plus told the club’s media after the match.
He added that the team is committed to turning their home ground into a fortress. “We will keep giving our best as we continue to work hard. We’ll go all out for maximum points again in our next league match.”

Abakaliki FC will face Ekiti United in a matchday four encounter this weekend as they seek to build on their early momentum.
