|By Chinwendu Nwani – The Accord Party 2027 election remains firmly on track despite a recent Federal High Court judgment, according to the party’s governorship candidate in Taraba State, Professor Jerome Nyameh.
Speaking to supporters, Nyameh urged party members not to panic. Instead, he called for calm and confidence, insisting that the ruling does not threaten the party’s future or its participation in the next general election.
“Don’t be discouraged by the Federal High Court judgment. ACCORD will be on the ballot in 2027,” he said.
He argued that the court decision marks only the beginning of a legal process. Furthermore, he noted that Nigeria’s judicial system provides additional avenues for appeal.
“The Federal High Court is just a trial court. There is the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court,” Nyameh added.
As a result, he expressed confidence that the party would challenge the judgment through the appropriate legal channels. He maintained that the matter remains unresolved and pledged to pursue every available option to secure justice.
Meanwhile, Nyameh reaffirmed the strength of the Accord Party across Nigeria. He said the party continues to build support and maintain active structures nationwide.
In addition, he urged supporters to remain peaceful, united and committed to grassroots mobilisation. According to him, current legal challenges are temporary and should not distract members from preparations for future political activities.
The governorship candidate also highlighted the role of influential political figures associated with the party. He argued that such support strengthens the platform ahead of the Accord Party 2027 election.
Looking ahead, Nyameh said party leaders remain focused on strategic planning and voter engagement. Consequently, he expressed optimism that the Accord Party 2027 election campaign would continue without disruption.
His remarks come amid concerns among supporters following the court ruling. However, party leaders insist their legal and political efforts remain firmly on course toward the 2027 general elections.
