Dogo Gide, a well-known bandit commander, has published a video tape in which he claims responsibility for shooting down a military helicopter in Niger, killing at least 20 soldiers.
The bandit leader and his members can be seen in the popular video depicting corpses of military officers strewn on the ground. He also displayed the wreckage of the wrecked plane at the spot.
However, as of the time of writing, the Nigerian army had not responded to Dogo Gide’s claim.
