AFTER SETTLING INTO A HOTEL WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND, A KANYAN PRIEST PASSES AWAY.

The death of a Catholic priest named Fr. Joseph Kariuki Wanjiku, who died just hours after booking a hotel in Murang’a County with his lover, is currently being investigated by the Kenya Police Service.

The 43-year-old checked into the hotel on Friday, July 7 with his 32-year-old girlfriend, according to local news sources.

The Catholic priest Joseph Kariuki Wanjiku, 43, of the Archdiocese of Nairobi and a farmer from the Mangu district checked into the aforementioned hotel with his girlfriend, who also happens to be her coworker in Ruai, the police reported.

The woman allegedly informed the hotel’s management that Kariuki was becoming unsteady and unconscious around 8 a.m. on Saturday, which necessitated a trip to a neighboring hospital.

When they arrived to the hospital in Kenol, he was still riding in his black Toyota Harrier when they declared him dead.
