The Nigerian Air Force has launched powerful new air attacks against criminal groups in Borno State. Flying units from Operation Hadin Kai led the intense military air campaigns to destroy hideouts and storage centers deep inside the Sambisa Forest area.
An official statement from the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, revealed that the mission relied on excellent scout reports and secret intelligence. On 26 May 2026, military aircraft carried out highly accurate bombings on hidden criminal camps and supply buildings at Biramiri, located within the Gezuwa region. The well-planned military air campaigns completely smashed vital enemy buildings and killed several fighters, heavily damaging their ability to launch fresh attacks in the area.
Ejodame explained that these ongoing operations have caused massive panic and chaos among the hidden networks. He shared: “The intensity and precision of the ongoing air offensives have continued to generate fear and confusion among terrorist elements across the Sambisa axis.” He also mentioned that recent military reports show the enemy forces are feeling lost and trapped, as the non-stop bombing runs prevent them from moving around freely or finding safe places to hide.
The military team promises to keep working closely with ground soldiers and other security groups to keep the pressure on these networks. They want to make sure they protect innocent citizens and bring back permanent safety to the North-East region. These successful military air campaigns show that the defense teams are determined to end the violence for good.
