Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare has vowed to score more goals for Wolverhampton Wanderers after breaking his duck in their Carabao Cup clash against Everton.
The 23-year-old striker sealed Wolves’ 2-0 victory at Molineux on Tuesday night, rifling home the decisive second goal three minutes from time after a clever assist from substitute Joao Gomes.
Introduced in the 68th minute for Strand Larsen, Arokodare made an instant impact and later expressed his delight on social media.
“First goal in gold and we pray for more. Next round let’s go!! #teatime,” he posted on X.
The win sends Wolves into the next round of the competition, with Arokodare determined to make his mark in gold and black.
