Barca Confirm Three Candidates For President

Joan Laporta, Victor Font and Toni Freixa are the three final candidates to become president of Barcelona.

Former president Laporta (his reign lasted from 2003 to 2010) received the most validated signatures of the three remaining candidates.

A fourth candidate – Emili Rousaud – withdrew his bid earlier on Thursday.

Campaigning will start on Friday with the elections scheduled to take place on Sunday January 24th.
