Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kola Omotoso, is under fire after a Friday night conversation with fellow contestant Dede ignited heated reactions across social media.

The clip, captured on camera and swiftly circulated online, showed Kola in what appeared to be a casual discussion. However, many viewers accused him of crossing personal boundaries, sparking outrage and branding him with derogatory labels such as “simp,” “predator,” and “rapist.”

The backlash intensified as the video trended, forcing Kola’s family and management team to respond. In a statement released Saturday via his official X account, they dismissed the allegations as “false, malicious, and dangerous,” insisting Kola has consistently conducted himself with respect, especially towards women in the house.

They further warned that defamatory remarks would not be tolerated and threatened legal action against individuals or platforms fueling the narrative.

“Kola has never at any point violated the rules of the show or disrespected his fellow housemates. We urge the public to desist from spreading defamatory remarks. Failure to comply will leave us with no choice but to pursue legal action,” the statement read.

The controversy adds to the drama of Season 10, where social media continues to play a decisive role in shaping housemates’ public perception.
