The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State has officially unveiled its House of Representatives aspirants, igniting early momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement, the party declared the unveiling a bold signal of its readiness to contest and reclaim political dominance, describing the aspirants as a powerful mix of seasoned politicians, rising leaders, and loyal party faithful drawn from across the state’s federal constituencies.

The PDP stressed that the lineup underscores its growing strength and internal vibrancy, while reaffirming its resolve to field credible candidates capable of delivering impactful representation at the National Assembly.

Among those unveiled are Dr Shior Emmanuel, Hon Iortyom Simon, Hon Tikaa Desmond, Dr Kester Kyenge, Hon Sunday Emmanuel Udeh, Hon Godwin Joseph, Hon Engr Orje Torhee, Hon Adejo Adejo, Hon Desire Oche Adaji, Hon Adoyi Isaac, Hon Ikyaator Vaachia, Hon Aida Nath, Barr Uke Seer Adeiyongo, Hon Ikyaagba Dominic, Hon Ukaa Emmanuel, Moses Mkeenem, Gen Ode Ede Gabriel (Rtd), Innocent Adega, Dexta Ngbede, and Hon Mrs Makama-Iver Ana Abigail.

The party pledged to uphold a transparent, free, and fair selection process, insisting that only candidates with the capacity to advance the interests of the people will emerge.

It also rallied party members, stakeholders, and the public to support the process, urging unity, sportsmanship, and collective commitment toward electoral success.

The development marks a decisive step in the PDP’s early build-up to 2027, as political activities begin to intensify across the country.
