Brain Jotter has cried out after he was allegedly harassed by touts, popularly known as agberos, on a Lagos road.

The Nigerian content creator shared a video of the incident on Instagram. He said the men stopped his vehicle and demanded money before allowing him to pass.

In the video, a group of men can be seen surrounding the vehicle. The confrontation appeared to leave the comedian frustrated as he tried to deal with the situation.

According to Brain Jotter, the men refused to let him continue his journey without settling them.

He later expressed his anger in a post accompanying the video. In the post, he appeared to use sarcasm to describe the incident and criticised what he saw as poor regulation of street-level touting.

One of the men in the video was heard making a statement that included the word “lion”.

Brain Jotter responded with a reference to a lion escaping from a zoo.

“Lion no dey use eyes see goat,” he wrote. He also criticised Nigerian zoo keepers and described the situation as sad.

The incident has once again drawn attention to complaints about roadside touts in Lagos. Such confrontations can create tension for motorists and raise questions about public safety and traffic management.

However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain based on the content creator’s account and the video he published. It is not clear from the material provided whether the men involved have been identified or whether authorities have taken action.

Brain Jotter has built a large following through comedy skits and social media content. Therefore, his account of the confrontation has attracted attention online.

Meanwhile, the incident highlights the concerns motorists often raise about roadside harassment and unofficial demands for money.
