The Speaker of the Edo state House of Assembly, Frank Okiye, has been confirmed positive for Coronavirus.
This was disclosed by the state Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, on Wednesday while briefing newsmen.
He said the state is taking measures to tackle further spread of the virus in the state.
While the governor of the state Godwin Obaseki, has however, gone into self-isolation.
