Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli, the 42-year-old Nigerian ambassador to Morocco, passed away yesterday.
In addition, he was the younger brother of Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau, and the Magajin Garin Zazzau.
According to a statement from the Zazzau emirate council’s media and publicity officer, Mansur Nuhu Bamalli passed away in a private hospital in Lagos while traveling to Morocco.
His wife and two kids survive him. He was selected by former president Muhammadu Buhari a year prior.
He held the position of deputy director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs prior to his appointment.
Bola Tinubu, the president, expressed his sorrow at the passing.
The president sent his condolences and expressions of grief to Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, the Emir of Zazzau, on the passing of his brother, according to Presidential Spokesman Ajuri Ngelale.
In addition, Ambassador Bamalli worked for the Nigerian government in the State House, different Ministry of Foreign Affairs divisions, and Nigerian embassies in Accra, Ghana, and Dublin, Ireland.
The president, who called Magajin Garin Zazzau a shrewd diplomat, joined the Bamalli family, the Zazzau Emirate, and members of the Nigerian foreign service in mourning.
President Tinubu said that he would always be remembered with affection by his coworkers, friends, and fans in the diplomatic service as well as the Zazzau Emirate for his humility, generosity, teamwork, dedication, and fortitude in the face of adversity.
He asked God to give him eternal peace and to console his loved ones.
