The Supreme Court has overturned the Court of Appeal’s judgment clearing Nnamdi Kanu of all charges of treason against him and declaring him not guilty. Kanu is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The supreme court ruled that even though he was forcibly returned to Nigeria from Kenya after he violated his bail conditions, the trial court was still entitled to proceed with his trial.
